It has been a long time since I have posted to any of my blogs. I had a pinched nerve that kept me off the computer. (See my webworld blog, www.websandwings.blogs.com/webworld.) My son moved to San Francisco to work for the company that hosts my blogs. Then there was tax season. My daughter changed her major yet again, making for much red tape on my part, but she has finally found her niche - Holistic Nutrition. She is going for a PhD and is very happy.
Then there were publishing projects and preparations for a full-day workshop in New York City. (See my InnerQuest blog, www.websandwings.blogs.com/innerquest) Not to mention Toastmasters projects.
It has been a whirlwind and a lot of drama, but much solid progress has been made in the lives of many.
In the process, despite the chaos, I have come back to myself. Chris's vacated bedroom has become my studio, with all my sewing and art. I am now combining my art with the computer and generating graphics and promotional pieces that are much better than anything I've ever had before.
Soon there will be an updated look to all my websites and blogs. I have a new logo for Webs and Wings and will be creating a new look for my website around it. InnerQuest has its own logo and Hallie Sawyers will be joining me as an author on that site.
I have also started working on my Transformational Journaling book. It should be out before the end of summer.
I am also working on another new book - Personal Intention Labyrinths. I have just received delivery of a huge role of butcher paper to use in putting on related workshops.
Over Memorial Day weekend, Hallie and I will be going to Sherburne, New York to attend a workshop by Robert Ferre, one of the premier labyrinth builders in the country. I want to construct a labyrinth in the back yard where the pumpkin patch used to be. THere are many other things Robert will cover that I can use.
I can see it will take a while for everything to manifest, but I am on the way. The most important thing is that I am creating and building my vision of what I want, and that is the first step.
