Flower of Life

I have been meaning to write about the Flower of Life Workshop for some time, but it didn't seem the right time. Partly it was because I was waiting for class photos that were not forthcoming. I finally gave up, so here we are.

The workshop was arranged by Scott Gallagher and hosted by Barbara Carlton of the Reiki Healing Center. The presenter was Maureen St. Germain. See http://www.maureenstgermain.com/HomePage.html.

The workshop itself had some stiff recommended preparation ahead of time - I reread both Flower of Life books by Drunvalo Melchizedek and watched 13 video tapes. Not everyone in the class did this so it didn't seem to matter that much, but I felt more comfortable having done it.

I am no stranger to Sacred Geometry or the ideas presented, but I had not attempted the meditation before the workshop. SInce the workshop, I have done the meditation at least once daily and have seen major changes in my inner landscape.

There have been changes in my outer landscape too. A number of us have formed a Flower of Life meditation group for people who had been in the training session. We do the meditation together weekly and share what has been going on in our lives.

We are looking into other trainings and more Flower of Life trainings for some time in the future.

Have you ever had a period of time when everything seemed to happen at once and things seemed out of your control? Plans going awry, changes happening, people around you cranky or distressed? Relax, enjoy it! Don't buy into negativity. Go with the flow and detach from judgment about the events. When things stabilize, regroup. You will find yourself in a different place, perhaps a better place, even if it doesn't feel like it at first. These sometimes frustrating times are the Universe's way of breaking your current paradigms so better ones can be formed.
